Update on Fabulous Friday Friend : Noah Kai

Noah Kai

Today’s post is an update on my favorite Fabulous Friday Friend from the past posts. I would like to re-introduce you to a little boy who is an inspiration to me. Today’s friend is a little Brazilian guy who has a big smile and is an even bigger inspiration! His name is Noah Kai. In his short life of five years, Noah has been a blessing to many. His attitude wins the hearts of those around him. His mother, Kelly says, “Life can be more colorful. It depends on your attitude.” Noah’s life is an example of this winning attitude! Noah’s parents had dreams of becoming professional surfers, but they retired from surfing. However, it seems that their son has inherited his passion for the sport! He doesn’t let obstacles stop him, whether it’s a painful therapy session, learning to ride a horse or just hugging his grandparents. What obstacles are you facing today? When I look at this little boy’s determination, my own obstacles don’t seem as big or impossible to overcome.

I only have Gratitude to God for the privilege of being Noah’s mother and being able to live the purest Love! – KELLY, NOAH’S MOTHER

Kelly and Noah show their gratitude for the blessings God has given them and for everyone involved in their therapy and medical treatment. The lack of government funds forced them to discontinue part of their therapy and his mother noticed some regression. Still, Kelly is strong in her faith and says she knows that God is in control.

Parenting a child with medical needs is a challenge, but Kelly relies on scriptural verses like Hebrews 11: 1 “Now faith is the substance of things to be expected, the evidence of things not seen” and Job 42: 2 ” I know that you can do everything, and no thought can be refused from you “.

Enthusiastic children, like Noah, rekindle my passion for teaching and life. It is easy to focus on the negative aspects instead of having the gratitude that helps us bring us back to a positive outlook on life when we face difficulties. Gratitude, like that of our fabulous Friday friends, takes us out of ourselves and lets the bigger picture shine through. Gratitude transforms lives. When you feel like giving up, think about little Noah and how resilient he is. Remember that the strength he has inside him is possible for you too!

☆ What are the five things you are grateful for? It can help to realign your attitude towards making a list or journaling them.

Be positive and happy, like Noah, because every day is a gift from God!
